Showers and thunderstorms will be common in the region today, as a strong cold front comes crashing through the tri-state area. The rain will end early tonight, but breezy conditions will take over and we'll remain under a mostly cloudy sky. Look forward to colder conditions Friday with highs struggling into the mid to upper 60s. Cool weather will persist into the weekend before southerly winds kick in Sunday afternoon, bringing the warmth back to the area. Have a wonderful day and stay dry!
