A low pressure system will slowly move east of our area into the Great Lakes Region overnight and spread periods of showers here through most of tonight. High pressure then builds into the area Thursday and Friday, bringing dry weather and mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the 60s through the end of the work week. Shower and thunderstorm chances return Friday night and will continue on and off through the Memorial Day weekend. The best chances will be for Memorial Day and Tuesday as highs return into the 70s. By later next week a full-fledged warming trend will bring 80s and chances of thunderstorms. Enjoy your evening! -News 19 Chief Meteorologist Dan Breeden
