High pressure was in charge of keeping things dry across the area today. Clouds looked threatening from time to time, but the storm system that provided those clouds has now moved well off to our southeast. Overnight, expect partly cloudy skies and comfortable conditions. It would be a good night to crack a window or two with lows bottoming out in the upper 50s and 60s.

Monday, we are watching high pressure retreat back to the north and east. That means another partly sunny day with high temps in the upper 70s and low 80s. There will also be a relatively weak cold front swinging through by the afternoon. There may be just enough instability to spark off an isolated shower, but those chances look very small. Overnight, lows drop back into the upper 50s and low 60s with just a few clouds.

Moving forward, your forecast looks relatively dry, but are there any big warm ups in sight? I'll see you at 10pm for your latest work week forecast and what to expect over the next several days. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! -Stormtracker 19 Meteorologist Alex Wasilenko
