LA CRESCENT, MN (WXOW) - To the sounds of teachers singing "Happy Trails", students at La Crescent-Hokah Elementary left school for the last time this year.
According to Principal Ron Wilke, who will become the next Superintendent of the district, this is the latest that the school has let out for the summer. Cold weather and snow days extended the school year until Tuesday instead of last Friday as was originally planned.
