Onalaska, WI (WXOW) With the summer months, the Coulee Human Society is seeing a growing feline population in the La crosse area.
The Humane society takes in strays, kittens and lost cats.
At times they say the number of felines are more than they can handle.
The Humane Society is urging owners to get their cats spayed and neutered.
They encourage keeping your cats inside.
And if they roam outside keep them on a leash or harness.
The Humane Society currently is caring for 100 cats and has 87 cats up for adoption.
