
READSTOWN, Wis. (WXOW) - Residents and officials can discuss concerns over flooding along the Kickapoo River at an upcoming meeting.
The meeting is set for July 22 from 1-4pm at the Readstown and Town of Kickapoo Advancement Association Building in Readstown.
Its a chance for the public as well as local, state, and federal agencies to exchange information on flooding on the Kickapoo, which has experienced its share of flooding in recent years.
The National Weather Service plans to talk about river level monitoring, flood forecasting, environmental concerns, local impacts and emergency planning.
