GALESVILLE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A 7-year-old boy is hit by a truck outside of Galesville Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened around 3pm.
According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department, Eric Docken, 47, was driving south on Oak Ridge Drive and was going around a bend when he struck the child who was playing in sand that was near and partially on the roadway.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says Tri State Ambulance took the boy to a local hospital.
He is being treated for head and leg injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
