TOWN OF LINCOLN, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A driver swerving to miss a deer causes a crash Tuesday night in Monroe County.
Sheriff Dennis Pedersen says the crash happened around 9:15 on County EW in the Town of Lincoln near Tomah.
A car driven by Kipp Jewell, 31, of Warrens, swerved to miss a deer. Pedersen says the car went into a ditch, rolled, landing on its wheels.
Both Jewell, and his passenger, 22-year-old Brittany Jewell, were taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital.
Pedersen says both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
