SPARTA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - One person is arrested after leading officers on a chase late Friday night in Monroe County.
The chase began on Highway 71 near County V in the Town of Glendale. A deputy pulled over a car driven by Christian A. Steine, 43 of Richland Center for speeding. As the deputy got out of her car, Steine drove off towards the Village of Kendall.
According to the deputy, Steine's car spun out a couple of times and hit at least one guardrail before crashing.
Both Steine and a passenger in the car received non-life threatening injuries.
Steine makes a court appearance Monday in Monroe County Circuit Court.
