Mauston teacher represents state in national competition

MAUSTON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Mauston High School teacher will represent the state in the national Teacher of the Year competition.

Leah Lechleiter-Luke teaches Spanish at the school.  Last month, she was named Wisconsin Teacher of the Year.

In honor of her selection, the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation awarded Lechleiter-Luke $6,000.   She'd been awarded $3,000 for her state achievement.
