HOLMEN, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Mindoro man is dead after a car crash Thursday near Holmen.
The La Crosse County Sheriff's Department says that 78-year-old John L.T. Dolbier died in the crash.
The department says that it appears, based on the fact there were no skid marks at the scene, which was on a straight stretch of road, that Dolbier suffered a medical emergency that caused him to drive off the road. He suffered severe chest and head injuries. Dolbier was the only one in the vehicle. He was taken to Franciscan Skemp Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The accident happened on County Highway T, east of Aspeslet Road, in the Town of Holland shortly after 4pm.
