
RUSHFORD, Minnesota - (WXOW) - Incumbents did not fare well in Tuesday's elections in the City of Rushford.
In a Mayor's race as well as two City Council seats, all three incumbents lost their positions.
For Mayor, Les Ladewig was defeated by challenger Chris Hallum 394-290.
In two City Council races, here are the numbers from the Minnesota Secretary of State:

Voters in the Rushford-Peterson School District, voters approved raising the per pupil spending limit by $100. The final vote was 623-502. The increase is effective for the next ten years.

RUSHFORD, Minnesota (WXOW) - Voters head to the polls for municipal elections and school referendum questions today across Minnesota.
Locally, in Rushford, ballots are cast for Mayor and two council seats. Incumbent Mayor Les Ladewig is challenged by Chris Hallum. Incumbent council member James Wolter faces off against Vernon Bunke, Mark Honsey and Roger Colbenson. In a special election for a two year term, incumbent Nancy Benson is running opposite Ted Robertson.
The Rushford-Peterson School District is asking voters to approve an increase in their per pupil spending from $840.19 per pupil to $940.19 per pupil. The increase would run for the next ten years.
