ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A police search Tuesday night in Onalaska leads to more than just the suspect they were looking for.
Investigators learned that Randy Tyler, wanted on a probation and parole warrant, was at an apartment complex at 518 Quincy Street.
Calling out the La Crosse County ERT team, they went to the complex to find Tyler. The Onalaska K-9 unit eventually tracked down Tyler, who was hiding in an attic. He was then taken into custody.
As the search and investigation proceeded, officers discovered a marijuana growing operation inside another apartment in the same complex. The person inside the apartment was also arrested and the operation seized.
Both Tyler and the other individual, who hasn't been identified by Onalaska Police, are now facing charges in their separate cases.
