La Crosse, WI (WXOW)- A Independence, Wisconsin couple on their way to the hospital for the delivery of their second child, didn't quite make it. Instead, the father delivered the 7lb 15 ounce baby in their Dodge Ram pick-up truck. On their way to Franciscan Skemp, they pulled over next to the La Crosse Child Care Day Center and welcomed their son Joseph Jonathan. "About 5:35 am we got into the car. We have about an hour drive and at 6:25am we were holding him in the front seat of our pick-up truck," adds Mom Sarah Matchey. The couple says the delivery made them a bit nervous, but they will have an interesting story to tell their son when he's all grown up.
