CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Rockwell Collins Inc. has announced plans to acquire Texas company AR Group Inc. and its affiliated companies, including Air Routing International.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The Cedar Rapids-based Rockwell Collins develops aviation electronics and communications equipment for commercial and government applications.
Air Routing International provides trip support services for business aircraft flight operations.
Rockwell Collins CEO Clay Jones announced Tuesday the acquisition will broaden Rockwell Collins' information management and aftermarket service offerings.
Houston-based Air Routing has 240 employees. Rockwell Collins employs about 20,000 worldwide.
The transaction is expected to close in about 40 days and is subject to regulatory approval.
