Onalaska, WI (WXOW) Dancing with the La Crosse Stars is on Saturday.
Community members and their professional dance partner have been practicing their moves and collecting funds for the Red Cross.
On Wednesday, our own Amy DuPont turned in about $250 dollars to donate to the REd Crosse.
A local band called "The Band That Should Not Be" helped Amy raise money.
The group is a Metallica tribute band. They performed last Saturday night at JB's Speakeasy and some of the proceeds from the evening went to Amy's fundraising efforts for the Dancing with the Stars benefit.
The Dancing with the Stars event is this Saturday at 7pm at Central High School.
