La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - La Crosse voters had a chance to hear from a candidate for State Lieutenant Governor.
State Representative Brett Davis is running for the Republican nomination.
If elected Davis wants to transform the Lieutenant Governor's office into the leading taxpayer watchdog in the state.
He is currently serving his third term in the State Assembly.
(R) Candidate for Lieutenant Governor Brett Davis said, "The most responsibility of the Lt. Governor is to being the leading taxpayer watch dog in the state of Wisconsin constantly focusing and ruling out fraud, waste and abuse there are numerous examples that exist in our State Government right now and I believe it's the responsibility of the Lt. Governor to stop it and that's what I will be forcing on as the next Lt. Governor if I am elected."
Davis has endorsed Republican candidate Scott Walker for Governor.
