SPARTA, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The Follendorf family will host the 31st annual Monroe County Dairy Breakfast.
The breakfast is Saturday, June 4 from 7 to 11 a.m..
Lee and Ginnie Follendorf have about 50 dairy cows.
Tickets are $4 per person and $2 for children 6 to 10. Five and under are free.
This is the Follendorf's 100th year as an operation.
Lee is the fourth generation on this farm.
He says the economy has been tough on the dairy operation.
But says it helps that he's diversified.
"Everything, seed, fertilizer, chemicals. Fuel is $4 a gallon for us too on the farm. It's costing a lot more per acre to plant that crop," Lee says.
Lee's farm will receive the Century Farm Award at the state fair this year.
There will be an opening ceremony at 9 a.m., including a petting zoo, wagon rides and barn viewing.
Folks can find omelettes, pancakes, sundaes and much more on the menu.
