It's time for Tiffany to begin Kindergarten with a helping hand from mom. For mom Aimee Scott, she says it's easier to send your child to school the second time around.
"I noticed with my son I was nervous putting him on the bus and if they see that your nervous they'll get scared. Just stay calm and let them know they're going to have fun and enjoy it,"says Scott.
For Hamilton Elementary Kindergarten teachers, it was a chance to welcome the young ones. "Just this morning a mom said to me awe he's doing great, isnt he? Awe I'm going to cry the whole time so sometimes the kids are ready to go and the parents are the ones adjusting to change," says teacher Joann Zigler.
So what was in the lesson plans for today?
"Finding out where our folders are, and our cubbies. And our lockers. Thats all kinda the first parts of school to get use to," says Zigler.
And Teacher Mr. Duddeck says teaching lets him show his creative side.
"I get a chance to be the childs first teacher and we just have so much fun and we run and play and kindergartners are just so full of energy,"says Duddeck.
When watchin the kids practice writing their names and color it can be hard not to remember what it's like to be a kid again.
