A nice cool high pressure system provided a great day in the area. Highs were in the lower 70s after morning lows in the 40s. We will be slightly milder tonight, and highs will warm up into the middle 70s Thursday. A low pressure area over the western United States will generate southerly winds and gusts will top 35 to 40 miles pre hour tomorrow afternoon and again on Friday. The southerly breezes will, in turn move up into the 80s for Friday and through the weekend. The first shot of rain could fall tomorrow, but the better chances will be on Sunday. We will monitor for any potential damaging storms. By next week we'll probably cool down once more.
