An upper level trough is swinging through with some pop-up showers. The weather probably had you paranoid today and had you keeping one eye to the sky. There is more moisture in the air to the north and as a result they have been dealing with more showers into the Chippewa Valley. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s and low 50s as showers come to an end as the sun sets and we lose daytime heating (heating is what is fueling the showers today).
Tuesday brings more sunshine and a few clouds; we'll call it partly cloudy. There will be an isolated threat for showers by the afternoon as an upper level trough redevelops with the low pressure that has been plaguing the region today. Afternoon highs will be a little warmer in the middle to upper 60s with the added sunshine. Tuesday night, all showers come to an end by 9pm and we're left with decreasing clouds. These decreasing clouds will lead to a fantastic Wednesday.
Wednesday we hop back on the 70s train and high pressure will take control. High pressure means more sunshine on Wednesday and back near average. Thursday into Friday we really start to warm up with temperatures in the upper 70s Thursday. Those warm temperatures and a stationary front to our south look like they will not get along Thursday night and as a result we could see strong to severe thunderstorms.
