The first day of Spring, the Vernal Equinox occurs for us at 11:15 am. The most direct rays of the sun move into the Northern Hemisphere at that time.
A storm system will move toward the region through Tuesday increasing our cloud cover, but only a slight chance of light snow will affect the western parts of the viewing area. Tuesday will also be cooler with highs in the 30s across much of the area.
Sunshine returns for Wednesday and Thursday, and a warming trend starts with highs in the lower 50s for Thursday and Friday. The weekend will bring chances of rain and perhaps snow for some.
