12 year old Anna Coppola never imagined her work in an afternoon art class at Blessed Sacrament School in lacrosse would gain national recognition.
Anna has Down syndrome and uses painting as a form or relaxation.
Out of more than 45-hundred entries, her painting "Trees and People" will represent the state of Wisconsin in the All Kids Can Create exhibit.
Anna says she got the idea for her painting from simply walking around La Crosse.
"Then I draw a line and mountains and rocks and trees and people and animals and a fort," said Coppola.
"Anna always comes ready to work and listen. She takes everything in and get to work and does her own thing," said art teacher Kathy Link.
The painting will debut in Washington, D.C.'s Union Station and travel to children's' museums across the country.
