At the heart of the national holiday is a chance to celebrate the anniversary of our independence.
We have independence and freedom because of our men and women in uniform.
While overseas, troops and their loved ones make countless sacrifices.
The Barnett family of Onalaska is just one example.
4th of July was another holiday Trina spent without her husband.
Jonathan Barnett is a First Lieutenant deployed to Iraq.
This is Jonathan's second deployment.
