MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A special committee studying foreclosures in Wisconsin is holding its third and final public meeting Wednesday in Baraboo.
The task force was appointed by state Assembly Speaker Mike Sheridan, a Democrat from Janesville, to gather information to be compiled into a report due at the end of August.
That report will be used to determine what bills need to be introduced in the Legislature.
The task force includes representatives from the banking and lending industry, real estate agents, community advocates and state lawmakers.
The first two meetings held earlier this summer were in Milwaukee and Eau Claire.
