La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - Stations were set up around the Logan middle school for walkers, Thursday.
Students could sign up to win prizes and grab a bite to eat.
The day is designed to educate children about pedestrian safety as well as to promote physical activity.This is the first year Logan middle school has participated in the walk.
The walk to school program is a team effort put on by every year by the La Crosse school district in partnership with the La Crosse county safe routes to school program and Gundersen Lutheran.
