La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - You may have noticed that the price of tomatoes is going up.
Florida had record low temperatures in January.
And that resulted in the loss of more than 70-percent of the tomato crop.
So, tomato prices have increased at Festival Foods.
But they say, the price increase is not all that uncommon.
Just three-weeks ago for example, floods in California affected the lettuce crop
Tomato prices are not expected to improve until mid April.
