LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Investigators travel the area to find out more information behind the murders of two people in Barre Mills earlier this week.
La Crosse County Sheriff Steve Helgeson says that interviews have been done in four counties and two states looking for information on the murders of Dennis and Merna Koula. He adds that more interviews are expected to happen this weekend as well as follow up on tips received from members of the public.
Helgeson says the investigation is focusing on the late afternoon and evening of Friday, May 21st.
On Thursday, investigators, after talking with family members, returned the home to the family.
