STOCKTON, Minnesota (WXOW) - UPDATE: Three people are injured in a fiery head on crash near Stockton Thursday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash along Highway 14 closed a portion of the road for approximately two hours between 620am-820am.
Trenton D. Drake, 31, of Rochester was headed east driving a 2001 Ford pickup that crashed into a westbound 2000 Dodge Durango driven by Michelle L. Rozek, 23, of Winona. Her two year old daughter, Alicia Dionysius, was a passenger in Rozek's vehicle. Both vehicles caught fire following the crash.
All three suffered non-life threatening injuries according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The three were all wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Drake was taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Winona. Rozek and Dionysius went to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.
The cause of the crash wasn't released.
Winona Police and the Winona County Sheriff's Office assisted with the accident scene.
STOCKTON, Minnesota (WXOW) -- UPDATED: A stretch of Highway 14 in Winona County near Stockton Thursday morning is reopened following a two car head on collision.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that the highway was closed between Winona County Road 25 and Winona County Road 20 just before 6:30am and reopened around 830am.
The MSP report says that a 2001 Ford pickup and a 2000 Dodge Durango collided head on. Following the crash, fire engulfed the vehicles.
Three people were in the vehicles at the time of the crash. Information on them is scheduled for release this afternoon. An earlier MSP report says that two men were driving the vehicles.
The condition of the victims isn't being released at this time.
The Winona County Sheriff's Department and Winona Police assisted with the accident.
