ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The annual Home and Garden Show helps gauge economic progress in the area. Thousands converged on the Omni Center in Onalaska this weekend to see the latest in home-improvement technology.
Organizers say roughly 40% of attendees are actually looking to build a new home, while 20-30% are working to re-model. The vendors on hand provide everything from initial plans to finishing touches--all with a trend toward energy efficiency.
"So if you update your windows, maybe you get a better 'R' value out of your windows and save some cost on energy. We have Solarworks here who can help you save cost on your energy consumption. We have home control solutions that can help you monitor and save cost on energy as well."
In addition to the vendors, Green Bay Packers legend Dave Robinson stopped by to sign autographs and share stories from his time wearing the green and gold.
