Katie was born and raised in Wayzata, Minnesota.
She's a graduate in May, 2011 from the University of Missouri with a major in Radio-TV Broadcast Journalism, and a Business minor.
Katie previously worked at the NBC affiliate in Columbia Missouri KOMU-TV as full time reporter. She also anchored weekend sports for 2010-2011. One of her career goals is to be a full time sports reporter at ESPN. Her favorite sport is basketball.
When not reporting, she likes to spend time with family, friends, playing basketball, running, walking my dog (Bella), and cook.
Katie loves telling stories and meeting new people here in the La Crosse area.
