ONALASKA, WI (WXOW)--The Tender Love and Care Center in Onalaska serves the homeless and needy in our community.
On Saturday, November 26th, dozens took part in a food drive at Sam's Club in Onalaska where all donations benefited the center.
TLC volunteers said they are most in need of food donations such as spam, vegetable soups, macaroni and cheese, tuna and ramen noodles, or just a monetary donation.
"Go down to the center say today you know, there are other places that bring food to us and we may get some produce for that day, no canned foods, no anything like that so if you could see the people that you're helping, you'd be amazed what a can of tuna does for a family that has some little kids or things like that," said TLC VP, Kris Hoff.
If you'd like to donate to the Center, they are always taking donations.
