TOMAH, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Tomah man has died after he crashed his vehicle into the Greenwood Cafe in Tomah early this morning.
Tomah police responded at 4:16 AM to 906 Superior Ave. Upon arrival, officers found the driver was unresponsive and needed to be transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital.
Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. The 62-year-old man's name is not being released at this time.
The investigation reports that the driver suffered an unknown medical issue.
The Tomah Building Inspector is working with the owner of Greenwood Cafe to determine if the structure is safe to reopen.
