NORWALK, Wisconsin (WXOW) - An accident at a meat packing plant in Norwalk takes the life of one of the workers.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department says that Edgar Rodriguez Becerra, 31, of Viola, was killed Friday at the Valley Pride Packing Plant. A call to 9-1-1 came in to Monroe County at 955am.
Becerra was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta where he was pronounced dead.
Stating the incident is still under investigation by the Sheriff's Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), further information on the accident has not been released.
