WHITEHALL, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Homicide charges are filed against a Galesville man in connection with his brother's death.
James M. Pederson appeared in Trempealeau County Circuit Court Tuesday. He was formally charged with Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle as a repeat offender during the hearing.
According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department, on November 28th, Pederson was driving on Highway 93, when his vehicle went off the road and crashed.
Pederson's brother, Dillon Pederson, 19, of Minneapolis was pronounced dead at the scene.
James will be back in court next week. He remains jailed on a $200,000 cash bond.
