LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - One of the places you can view the New Year's Eve fireworks display is from the Rotary Lights.
There are two shows on New Year's Eve. The first show begins at 6:00 pm and will last for about 10 minutes The second show will begin at midnight and last for 15 to 20 minutes, serving as the main show.
The La Crosse SkyRockers and the New Year's Eve fireworks display is one of the longest running La Crosse traditions. This will be the 82nd year for the fireworks show.
UW-La Crosse might be another spot to watch the show. The university is opening up the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex for seating for both the 6pm and midnight shows.
Tickets go on sale at 4pm on December 31st at the stadium. Tickets are free for children under 3, $2 for children 4-15 and $3 for others, with a $10 maximum per family.
Seating for the 6pm show starts at 5pm. Seating for the midnight show begins at 10pm.
Suites are also available for individual and group seating. Individual seating is $10 for the early show and $15 for the midnight show. Children are $5 for the early show and $10 for the late program.
Concessions will be available.
