MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The WIAA and the University of Wisconsin remain at odds over the future of the home of the boys and girls state basketball tournaments.
Today, the university released a statement saying future changes to the Badgers Hockey schedule is creating a conflict.
The university is offering the Fieldhouse as an alternative site.
They've also suggested the WIAA hold it's state tournaments from Tuesday through Thursday if they want to keep it at the Kohl Center.
On the other side, the WIAA is giving serious thought to moving the basketball tournaments to Green Bay.
The WIAA's contract with UW runs through June, 2013.
