Hunger Task Force "Soup-er Bowl Sunday"

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (News Release)-The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse in association with The La Crosse Tavern League and La Crosse Beverage are sponsoring the 3^rd Annual Soup-er Bowl Food Drive February 5, 2012. Collection of non-perishable food items will take place at various taverns throughout La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen, West Salem, and Bangor. For a full list of participating taverns, go to www.lacrossehtf.org  Coors Light is offering one free can of Coors Light to those who donate a canned food item during the Super Bowl.

As we begin a new year providing food to the area meal sites and food pantries, The Hunger Task Force is seeing the demand for food continue, yet the donations dropping.  Our recipient agencies turn to us at a time when their holiday supply is depleting.

Please join us in "tackling" hunger by donating non-perishable food items at participating taverns. Donations will go to assist the hungry in the Coulee Region.
