Bangor, WI (WXOW)-- Hundreds turned out at a benefit in Bangor Saturday afternoon to support a young mom battling breast cancer.
Randina Langrehr is 30 years old and was diagnosed with stage-three breast cancer in November. She's currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
At Saturday's fundraiser, held at Bangor's Log Cabin, there were live and silent auctions, as well as a raffle.
All the proceeds go toward medical costs and supporting the Langrehr family.
Langrehr says her husband and her one and a half year-old son Walker, give her the strength to keep fighting.
"Probably having a little one, and we have a little hobby farm, so I'm out taking care of my animals. It helps me to get outside and do stuff. If I just lay around it's more depressing. I think if you force yourself to keep busy, then you feel better," Langrehr said.
If you want to help support the Langrehr family, you can mail donations to the Farmer State Bank, PO Box 69, 1606 Commercial Street, Bangor, WI.
