Kristen Barbaresi Multimedia Journalist
I grew up in Rochester, MN.
I graduated from St. Olaf with a degree in Political Science and got my Masters in Journalism from Northwestern. Prior to coming to WXOW, I've interned at KTTC in Rochester, KARE 11 in Minneapolis and NBC in New York where I worked on Nightly News and the Today Show.
In between college and grad school, I spent a year in AmeriCorps teaching reading at an elementary school in Minneapolis. Most recently I was living in Boston, where my family now lives, but I'm excited to be back in the Midwest! I like working out and traveling (my favorite city is Florence).
