VIROQUA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Vernon County convicted sex offender is arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile.
Vernon County Sheriff John Spears says in a news release that 26-year-old Isaac Yoder is held in the Vernon County Jail without bond.
Spears says the state's Department of Corrections contacted the Sheriff's Office when Yoder violated the GPS bracelet he was wearing.
Also, in speaking to his parole agent, Yoder confessed he had committed the crime.
Yoder was sentenced in 2008 for Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Part of his sentence was lifetime placement on the Sex Offender Registry.
He is scheduled to appear in Vernon County Circuit Court on February 27th.
