WAUWATOSA (WKOW) -- A Shorewood teenager accused of giving birth in her bathtub and burying her baby in the back yard will not be criminally charged.

A 16-year-old girl was about six months pregnant, but hadn't told anyone when she gave birth in her bathtub last August.

The girl's mother discovered the baby a month later, wrapped in four bags and buried.

The girl told police the baby was stillborn.

At a hearing Monday, children's court Judge Karen Christenson says there was no definitive testimony about whether the baby was alive or dead.
