IOWA CITY, Iowa (WXOW) - Police arrested an Iowa City mother whose toddler was found intoxicated.
The 22-month-old's father took the child to the hospital Monday because the toddler was crying, and couldn't keep a steady balance.
Doctors confirmed that the young child had been given alcohol, and had a blood alcohol level of .09.
Police say the mother was also intoxicated, and couldn't keep her story straight on how the child got the alcohol. She is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond.
