LA CROSSE,WI(WXOW)--High School and middle school students from all over western Wisconsin competed in Regional's for National History Day at UW-L.
The theme this year is 'revolution, reaction and reform.' Students pick a topic and explain how it relates to the theme.
Students had a number of different options when it comes to how they wanted to present their research and findings. Those options include exhibits, web sites, stage performances and media documentaries.
Qualifying students will go on to present their projects at the State Competition in Madison.
Community members in La Crosse will also have the opportunity to get a look at the projects. They will eventually be displayed at the La Crosse Public Library.
