Holmen takes down Onalaska; stays undefeated

Onalaska, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  The Holmen Vikings fast start just keeps continuing.

Holmen beat rival Onalaska 8-4 Thursday in an MVC showdown at the Riders Club Field in Onalaska.

The Vikings are now 6-0.

Taylor Kohlwey went 2 for 4 with an RBI and Victor Berkley went 3 for 3 with two runs batted in to lead Holmen.

The game was tied at 4 in the top of the 6th when Brandon Knudtson drew a bases loaded walk from Adam Rude to score the lead run.

Ryan Wesely followed up with a sacrifice fly to make it 6-4.

Dylan Peterson hit a three-run home run for Onalaska, who fell to 2-4 overall.
