Man arrested in Winona purse-snatching

WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- Winona police have captured a man accused in a purse-snatching early Friday morning.

Police Chief Paul Bostrack says 24-year-old Jack Kluver was arrested after a young woman's boyfriend chased him into a stairwell at 129 West 3rd Street.

Officers got involved after witnessing the pursuit, and after surrounding the building, caught Kluver still holding the woman's purse.

Chief Bostrack says he may face charges of simple robbery and obstructing the legal process.
