Sports Connection 2011 Award Winners

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - You watched. You voted. Now, here are the winners of the 2011 La Crosse Area Sports Connection Awards.

The winners were presented last night at Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska and honored along with this years Hall of Fame inductees--Carol Hanson, George Sladky, and Frank Thornton.

And the winners are:

Male High School Athlete: Matt Thomas, Onalaska
Female High School Athlete: Maddie Haupert, Aquinas
College Athlete: Bebeto Yewah, UW-La Crosse
Coach of the Year: Brent Schroeder, Caledonia Football
High School Team: Caledonia Football
College Team: UW-La Crosse Gymnastics
Volunteer of the Year: Lois Storlie
