STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point softball has announced the date and time for the rescheduled game against UW-La Crosse. The game will be played Thursday, April 19 beginning at 3 p.m. at McCarty Memorial Field in Stevens Point.

Originally scheduled for Sunday, April 15, the game was postponed due to inclement weather in the forecast for the Stevens Point area.

The Pointers (11-17, 1-7 WIAC) will now play eight games this week, starting with a road doubleheader at UW-Oshkosh on Tuesday, April 17.

After the home doubleheader on Thursday, the Pointers head to Superior on Saturday for a pair of games against the Yellowjackets before returning home to close out the weekend with a nonconference tilt against the nation's third-ranked team, Luther College.

Sunday's doubleheader with Luther is also the team's Strkeout Cancer event. Fans are encouraged to wear pink as a show of support. T-shirts will be available and fans can donate to the event.

Parents Day activities scheduled for the La Crosse series will now be combined with Senior Day on Saturday, April 28 against UW-Stout.
