Arcadia, WISCONSIN (WXOW) Arcadia softball is separating themselves from the rest of the Coulee Conference thanks to a 4-0 win over rival Luther Tuesday.
Both teams were ranked in the top 10 in division three coming in.
For the Raiders though, it's followed a pattern of success.
They've outscored opponents 27-3 in their 6 games so far.
That includes shutout wins in their last three games.
Now they have to deal with playing the rest of the season with a target on their backs.
"I think the kids are learning if we get one or two runs there's a good chance we're going to win. We're doing a better job of getting runners home from third base and runners home from second base. I think they're gaining a lot of confidence," said head coach Dave Bjorge.
"It gives us all high momentum and confidence. But we don't think about it. All we do is come out and play our game every day," said pitcher Jenna Baumgartner.
Arcadia will host West Salem Thursday.
