HOLMEN,WI (WXOW)—River City Lawnscape converted six of their lawn mowers from gasoline to propane operated.
Propane burns cleaner than gas so it will help their mowers last longer, increasing their life by about three years, and put out fewer emissions.
"With gas prices now we will recoup costs of switching over to run on propane inside of two seasons and then save approximately 400 to 500 dollars per mower per season," Drew Gronholz, River City Lawnscape Owner said.
He said they're saving $1.30 per gallon by using propane instead of gasoline in their mowers.
