MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Dr. James Kroll, hired to study the state of Wisconsin's deer population, has spent much of the month of April traveling and listening to people about the issue.

Dr. Kroll spent Thursday evening in Black River Falls getting comments from some 200 hunters concerned over the dwindling numbers of deer in the state.

He sat down with Capitol Bureau Chief Greg Neumann for a taping of Capitol City Sunday to go over what he's learned about the deer herd in Wisconsin.
