LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Tie a ribbon on the 2012 NFL Draft. The final selection is in the books.
The title of "Mr. Irrelevant," reserved for the final pick in the Draft, goes to Northern Illinois quarterback Chandler Harish, picked 253rd by the Indianapolis Colts.
The Packers, meanwhile, hope their draft picks are anything but irrelevant.
Trades left the Pack with five picks in the final four rounds, and no surprise, they continued to bolster the defense. In the 5th round they scored outside linebacker Terrell Manning, who in addition to 4th round Iowa defensive tackle Mike Daniels looks to shore up the Packers' front seven. Another 4th round pick, Maine's Jerron McMillan should provide support for a secondary now without Nick Collins.
In addition to Daniels, McMillan and Manning, the Packers finish the draft picking two offensive players in round seven. Andrew Datko will compete for a spot on the offensive line, while B.J. Coleman will try to slot in behind Aaron Rodgers at quarterback.

Meanwhile, here's how the Vikings later rounds shaped-up. Minnesota added a couple of targets for Christian Ponder in round four-- two Arkansas wideouts, Jarius Wright and Greg Childs both come from a college program ranked 13th in the nation in terms of passing yards last season.
The Vikes rounded out an offensive 4th round with USC fullback Rhett Ellison. They also looked to find an ageing Ryan Longwell's replacement in the 6th round by picking up Georgia kicker Blair Walsh.
